I have just upgraded the firmware and now I can't connect through it until I get all the config data back in, some of which I did not note down.

Can anyone please tell me the Primary DNS Address & Secondary DNS Address?

Thanks

DHCP wasn't working from the WAN.
Looks like I needed to switch off/on the modem & router. It appears to be OK now.

Thanks for the info.

and for those times when NTL's DNS doesn't do it for you, I can recommend OpenDNS

208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220http://www.opendns.com/

That command won't give any DNS info.

Ping is used to verify connectivity to a remote site, and gives the following output.

Pinging www.bbc.net.uk [212.58.226.232] with 32 bytes of data:

Reply from 212.58.226.232: bytes=32 time=14ms TTL=122
Reply from 212.58.226.232: bytes=32 time=13ms TTL=122

Reply from 212.58.226.232: bytes=32 time=14ms TTL=122

Ping statistics for 212.58.226.232:
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 13ms, Maximum = 14ms, Average = 13ms

The command you are referring to is "IPconfig /all" which will give the DNS and various other info.

Also, note, if you are connected to a router, the DNS entry returned may be the IP of the router (some routers operate their own DNS servers which just forward any requests).
