Ok here goes: :D
1. I have a 4mg bb via the ntl router that i have plgged into my wifi. I've recently recieved the VM set top box - can i plug my wifi into the set top box's ethernet port or do I have to configure the port first???
2. 4mg is being upgraded to 10mg in May - will my 10mg wifi router be sufficient to handle these speeds? ( I know that the speed won't be bang on 10 mg but does anyone think it would be worth while upgrading my wifi router soon?)
3. Is there any software tool or command prompt that will allow me see how my broadband is performing ie what speed i am recieving at any given time of day?
4. Can I share my bb connection if I connected another pc? How many IP address are given to each bb subscriber?
I have heard that the cnnection cannot be shared. If that is true it must be 1 address per subscriber - am I right? Or is what I have heard wrong?
Any help would be appreciated :tu:
