I went for a walk around the nature reserve ponds with the Mrs over the weekend - looking for frogspawn or tadpoles so we could transfer some to our garden pond.

None!

Are we too early yet? (North West UK)

Last year we waited until late May and the nature reserve warden siad we had "missed them"

Snod.

Think they start appearing when the weather begins to warm up so it may be soon

Our pond has more frogspawn than water, it seems, just now, shame you weren't walking round in the North East, you could have had a bucket load ;)

Nooooooo don't do it, once you've got frogs you'll never be rid - unless you get some very big fish too ;)

I'm in Manchester, had fog spawn in our garden pond for several weeks, now we have tadpoles. Doubt they will last long as the goldfish love the little darlings. I know that you shouldn't have goldfish in a frog infested pond but the goldfish were there first.

I think it should probably start to appear soon, in the next couple of weeks.
