Hi.
I am a old NTL subscriber with 1meg internet.

I have now noticed that Virgin have updated their packaged to 2meg minimum.:tu:

Question is, am i entitled to this as a free upgrade? as i am paying the same money per month for half the speed.:erm:

Also, im looking at upgrading to 4meg BB, however, as i get my internet through a STB, will that have to change with the upgrade? is there a limit on how much the STB can handle?

Thanks
Deano.Uk:)

1Mb automatically got upgraded to 2Mb a while back...

Do you have a Pace STB? It's only capable of 1Mb... you need to get it swapped for a Samsung or get a SACM.

This is one of the things that really hacks me off about NTL/Virgin. There will be thousands of people on 1MB with Pace boxes, not knowing they could get faster if they asked. Nothing was done to inform existing customers about this, they're only interested in new customers. I only found out via this marvellous forum.
