Download Keeps stop/starting??

On 10meg(which means nothing),and trying to download etc etc,and connection keeps going for 10secs cuts of and then downloads another 10secs,its not all the lights just the up and downstream,its like somebody has a switch going on and off

its not a constant flow,

any ideas

host problem? try a download manager? try a proxy?

Thanks will see what i can do,not overly techhy fied so probably ending up no better off,

but gotta learn somehow

Are you using a Peer2Peer Client Such as Limewire.. or Torrents?
