I just walked into a table which has damaged the LCD screen on my Sony Ericsson T-630, which is as good as useless.

Can this screen be replace or is it just a cheap to by a replacement.

I will need to get a sony as I have loads of new accessories to go with it.

If I need to get a new phone Must have MP3 & 3.2Meg camera

£20 here (http://www.formymobile.co.uk/proddetail.php?prod=t630lcd) :)

Original/genuine Sony-Ericsson T630 LCD screen for replacement of cracked screens/screens which do not display any characters etc.

- Basic fitting instructions: Remove the phone's battery. Lift away the aerial cover using a thin sliver of plastic such as a plectrum or plastic tweezers. With the aerial cover removed, push the aerial away from the phone. Unscrew the 4 visable screws. Lift the screen from the main body of the phone and replace with the new LCD. Reverse the procedure for disassembly and it's finished. To request detailed instructions (with photos) use the 'ask us a question' link.

When mine broke I took it to the Vodaphone shop and they charged me £40 to replace it. Not unreasonable I thought.

I'd consider getting a new phone seeing you can get a good Sony pay and go for under £80 now.

Check out the Sony K750i as this comes with an excellent 2 megapixel camera.

I've just noticed you wanted a 3.2 megapixel camera so check out the Sony K800i for £180.

Hom3r, try replacing the screen or if not then yes go for the K800 but I would wait for say a month as there is a new model coming out namely the K810 so the k800 would probably drop in price a bit more.

I looked but couldn't find it apart from getting picture messaging working (http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/personal/pages.do/our-services/messaging/troubleshooting). Surely all this stuff will be in the manual that came with the sim card?

I'm sure you'll like the K750i as i have the same phone and it's great. It cost me £200 16 months ago.

As a future reference for this thread gsmrepair.com has great prices, no need to pay over the odds there.
