Hi,

I have just moved house and as part of the "Move" I decided to go for a 10MB upgrade (from 4MB) as part of the deal. Anyway, I finally got my new PIN for registering the service and everything is now working, only I don't think my speed is correct.

Looks like the 2MB service to me.

Is there anyway I can check the settings myself ? I knew how to do it on my old Samsung STB but I have a new NTL250 modem so no idea how to check it ?

I had the same problem, followed the 2nd link from Nikesh and found that they had set me up on Size M instead of Size XL. Speed test went from approx 2000 kbps to 9700 kbps.

Now i am HAPPY :)

Thanks for the link Nikesh

Unable to modify cable modem details

Oh well, I guess I will have to call them again tomorrow. Thanks for the link though. :tu:

Im guessing those links only work for ex-NTL members. Both links don't tell me my speed!

according to virgin, I'm not the registered user for my modem !! Had the thing almost 4 years now...
