i just wondered, i have always been on ntl, and when i replaced my pc a couple of years ago, i had to put the broadband jump cd back in and install putting my password and user account details in, my question is, i f i get a new pc how would i go about installing the broadband again? do i still use the ntl disc and put in my password and account details? thanks from jane

You shouldn't need the ntl install disk, unless you insist on connecting using USB, in which case you'd only need the drivers.

If your PC is fresh out of the box, it should be quite simple to power off your mode, plug in the ethernet from modem to PC, power up, and the PC should start to speak to the internet.

Yep that is correct, if you did want the Virgin Media Software you can order a new Virgin Broadband Cd here.

Yep, you shouldnt have any problems.
Just make sure everything is turned off first.
Then plug in the ethernet cable from the modem into the network (ethernet) port on your new PC.
First turn on the modem. Wait for the lights to settle.
Then turn on the PC.
You should be good to go and can surf the net.
