Hi paulyoung666,

Used it a long time ago but can't remember exactly, something to do with creating the audio file seperate and then combine them, if you go here (http://www.dvdrhelp.com) you will find plenty of info about encoding and the likes

Good luck

hi paul,

sometimes the divx audio is encoded in ac3 and other stuff. You will need to use another prog to rip the audio to wav and then use that as the source for tmpgenc. :)
I use Uleads encoder now as you can put front ends on your vcd's too.

right click on the divx and look in the properties, it will tell you what type of encoding the audio is in. There are also programs out there that will do a better job of telling you.

Probably. If it is a PAL disc, then in theory it shouldn't be as the DVD spec for PAL discs allows for mpeg audio streams, and so your player should support it (that doesn't mean it does though). (The PAL spec allows for MPEG and PCM audio only) The DVD spec however does not allow for mpeg audio for NTSC discs (AC3 and PCM only).
Given however that AC3 is widely used for PAL discs - Dolby Digital is a form of AC3 - and mpeg is very rare (I'm not sure I've ever seen any commercial PAL discs with mpeg audio), a lot of manufacturers are dropping the mpeg audio support.

Basically your best bet is to use AC3 audio (as PCM takes up too much space).
