One of my jobs is to look after a small office LAN. I've set up everyone's copy of Internet Explorer to have the same 'homepage' and this is held on a local fileserver. At the moment it's fairly boring (but functional) and looks a bit like this (http://homepage.ntlworld.com/altisuk/jfb/).

Do you have any suggestions for tarting it up a bit? I'm looking for useful links, brighter styles, anything really. But not too big please - some of the screens are still only 800x600.

Grab frontpage and look at the themes - bit basic but it'll brighten things up a little and give you ideas to extend it.

If your company has an internet presence, why not grab a suitable page from that & edit into something suitable.

If not there are quite a few sites offering free templates out there. Just type 'free web templates' into google. http://www.freewebtemplates.com/ looks promising.

I like the idea of cloning the company web site - I might try that one.

Anyone got any good links that might be useful in an office environment?
