If it's affecting your service call tech support, otherwise leave it be. So long as it works there's no problem at the moment :)

Ok, sounds like the local network is drifting a bit on power levels. All things being well the local network crew will spot this before it becomes an issue and will 'line up' the network and sort it as part of their normal maintenance.
Power levels can also change due to the weather.
If you start seeing your connection getting unstable though, don't hesitate to call in, it's what the TSB are there for.

just checked mine.....
Downstream Receive Power Level : -17.3 dBmV
according to the sticky, that doesnt look very good
Not too good - drop me your MAC address and I'll check the other four indicators and try and see if they give us a clue.

its a NTL Home 120 modem
its a NTL Home 120 modem
You are using the right login then, but you may have to reboot the modem to get to the page.
Also, make sure you do not have a proxy server specified in tools-> internet options-> connections-> lan settings :)

I could do with a bit of help. Had problems recently with the connection dropping out and a few websites not working, or taking a long time to load.
My signal levels are:
Downstream Receive Power Level : -21.0 dBmV
Downstream SNR : 24.8 dB
Upstream transmit Power Level : 61.0 dBmV
Could that be why? I have a NTL 250 Badged Modem. Thought I'd ask you guys in here first rather than try on the phones!
Ben.

Yep it would seem that your signal levels are out of tolerance. Time to give Faults a call and see what they say.

I bet you're using Microsoft Internet Explorer. They've recently patched this to prevent you accessing sites that require a username and password. Opera and Firefox have no problems with this ;)
As a workaround you'll need to go to:
http://192.168.100.1/
and then type in 'root' for both the username and password.
