hi, i had a 150k ntl broadband internet connection for a year . when the 150k to 300k upgrade started my connection never changed to 300k. when the 300k to 1mb upgrade started my connection did change. Now i have 1mb but sometimes it goes back to 150k randomly. it never goes to 300k for some reason. my 3gb limit hasnt expired yet, but i am still going with the old 150k/sec. Does anyone know why? Any suggestions on how i could resolve this? is this from my computer or is it from ntl? thanks!

Firstly Welcome to the forums. :welcome: I hope you like it here.

I am sure a person who works for NTL will come accross your post in due time and can check your account for you.
You could try phoning NTL and asking for them to resend the firmware to the modem and see if it makes a difference.
Your computer, unless it has any bandwidth limiting programs or adware/spyware, should not play a part in the problem.

NTL will be able to run a speed check on your connection and make sure your modem is set up for the correct speed.
