View Full Version : FTP d/load speed is this normal

downloading a rather large binary file at the moment using FTP surfer but the current d/l rate is only 14.3 k /sec is this normal :confused:

I am on 2 mb service not my sort of thing :erm: this tranfer lark ....pointers appricated from some experts...... as its going to take 3 hrs at this rate

if the speed is steady, it is likely all you will get, any sensible person will throttle their upload on a cable connection ;)
