What are your favourite 3 smells?
Mine are:
My daughter's freshly bathed skin,

3. A chocolate cake baking in the oven.
Oh and petrol sometimes too when you pull in the petrol station.

i'd have to say:
my gf's hair
frying garlic / onions
machine shop smell (burning metal shards/coolant/grease etc)

I agree, Petrol is nice.
There is this pub at Manchster airport which is seriously just a few metres from the runway and when the planes taxi onto the runway and turnaround you get a really nice warm breeze from the engines with a smell of jet fuel, it is really nice!
i like the smell of omelette's too.

I agree, Petrol is nice.

Youth of today - petrol sniffing, under-age drinking. Where did we go wrong?

A freshly opened jar of coffee.
That earthy smell you get just before a good storm.
My girlfriends skin after a bath (she uses some really nice moisturiser or something, makes her skin all soft and nice smelling).

I've just remembered this one.... the beautiful smell of liturgical Incense :shrug:
I was probably the only person to attend a mass who inhaled deeply everytime the cencer was thrust in my direction...... perhaps i just needed purifying more than most :D
