I got a memory card yesterday so i can take saves around to a mates.

anyway, does anyone know how to copy the saves onto a memory card? some of them have a copy function but some of them just have "delete". Surely they cant not let you put some saves on a memory card?

I think i remember reading about it a long time ago and theres a dodgy way of doing it but if anyone could tell me i'd be very happy :)

You ok

Of course you can copy game saves to your memory card! In the dashboard you need to click on the thumbstick of the game saves you want to copy...

They all have copy options...why would they not?

Saying that...if they don't have them in the normal place...then you can't :p ;)

Steel Batallion for one does not have a copy function, and that is a totally deliberate feature to stop you making a back-up of your game in the event you lose your character. It's damn frustrating but in keeping with the nature of the game so vaguely acceptable, but it really isn`t on when other games don`t have the facility to copy saves over to the memory card.

You can't copy KOTOR save files as well.

No wonder as each save is 1600 blocks and no way will you get that on a memory card.....lol

So it is just a space thing?

Nope, kung fu chaos only has a few blocks.

I have your answer and anyone else that is having trouble copying thier gamertag to a memory card read this. its quite simple but it took me an entire day to figure it out....

1)insert your memory card into your xbox controller
2)go to the "memory" section on the xbox os
3)access you xbox hard drive saves

4) in order to copy your xboxlive gamertag so you can play at a friends
house
-you must scroll down to the xbox live save
-THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP IS TO THEN "SCROLL OVER" USING YOUR D
PAD BEFORE PRESSING THE "A" BUTTON TO MOVE ON
- YOU THEN CHOOSE THE "COPY" FUNCTION
- IF YOU DONT SCROLL OVER BEFORE SELECTING XBOX LIVE YOU WILL
ONLY GET THE OPTION OF DELETING YOUR XBOX LIVE ACCOUNT.

But that's not the answer.
He wanteds to copy game saves, not gamertags.

Still thanks for publishing the info.
perhaps it needs adding to the FAQ in the Xbox help pages.
