Went into town today to trade in some old (& not so old) games, which I never play anymore, with the intention of getting KOTOR.

Could probably have got more using EBAY, but I couldn't be bothered (much easier simply taking them to a shop).

I traded the following at Gamestation:

SW: Rogue Leader (GC) - £5

Splinter Cell - £8

Ghost Recon - £13

Soldier of Fortune 2 - £22

Phantasy Star Online - £23

Total = £71

I know from past experience that if I'd bothered getting a quote for them in GAME, it probably would have been around £20 less total.

I bought KOTOR for £35 using the trades, & kept the difference as store credit, which I'll probably use for RS3 or whatever the next decent game is.

Yep.

I've had it for over 2 months now, & still haven't even put the disc in my XBox, let alone actually play it online.

And I know that I simply won't have the time to play it at all: not with KOTOR, GRIT, RtCW & so on.

Why keep it, if I've never played it, & will never play it.

Needless to say i was happy and got kotor :D

I got £15 for GR and i could have got about £17 for Splinter Cell in GAME!

must agree about gamestation , better choice , cheaper and better trade in prices compared to game , and at least in my local store they dont hassle you like game do :)

Gamestation rox.. I just got Madden 2004 For 15 trading in 3 games..... can't wait to play it.

hmm,

i see a couple of you trading is SOF2, which i was thinking of getting...well either that or GR.IT..

which would you recommend?

im going to trade in TS2, PGR, GR and mech. (if they will take them) at my local independant, will let you know the prices.

Well youve already got the best LIVE game (RTWC) so you may as well get the second best (GR:IT)

Hardly anyone plays SoF2 now.

Depends on your local GAME, too.

My local GAME always gives me lower quotes than Gamestation.

ok,

so heres the trade in prices at Game for me (local independant was closed today)

GR - 17
TS2 - 17
Mech - 13
PGR - 7

not bad i thought, so i got GR IT for 19.99, and SOF2 for 29.97..and an official xbox mag with the change..lol
