I'm looking to reduce my internet costs for the summer.
I don't plan on doing much surfing over the summer months, and virtually no downloading.

I'm currently with Zen 1Mbps service and its been great, but £35 a month is going to go to waste.

I've checked on ADSLguide and prodigy networks come up as the cheapset, 14.99 for 1Mbps with 2GB limit.

Only going to use it for checking e-mail etc, occasionally reading bulletin boards, so not bothered if its unreliable and doesn't work all the time.

Anyone use(d) them? Or any other sugeestions?

Cheers
Phil.

Plus.net do 2mps/1gb for 14.99 & are very reliable according to ADSLguide. (it's only 1.75 extra for 2gb).

Or will shortly be doing a 30gb service at the highest speed your line supports for £21.99.

(if you join pn please put zoombini in the referrer field :D )

Go for Plus.net, I know I would.

Other than that, some good 'uns are - www.adsl4less.co.uk (http://www.adsl4less.co.uk) and www.totalise.co.uk (http://www.totalise.co.uk) (my personal current favourite) and www.pipex.net (http://www.pipex.net)

Also talktalk are doing 512k unlimited & free phone calls for a year for £20. (so I have been told)

Thanks for the tips.

I'm new to ADSL, so i'm a little confused by this migration thing?

From what i have read, i can only migrate to the same speed service, so have to stay at 1Mbps (which i'm quite happy with)

I'll check out plus.net now

Cheers
Phil.

Plus.net is a 12 month contract - no good (forgot to mention i dont want to be tied in)

adsl4less has a migration fee of £14.99, but does offer unlimited.

Pipex looks good, but costs 19.99 a month

Still think prodigy networks suits my requirements best, there's just so many options available its hard to know whats the right deal for me.
