My connection has been atrocious for the past two weeks, at least. Web browsing is very slow and i reguarly (at least once every 15 minutes) get a "cannot connect to server" message and pages dont load at all.
Downloading is fine, infact while i'm typing this i'm downloading a file @ 70kbps (i'm on 600k).
Playing any FPS game has become impossible. Every 5 or so minutes i get a lag spike; my ping shoots up to 200-300 and i cant move, shoot or anything. Its as though my connection has been paused. Then after about 20-30 seconds it goes back to normal (pinging around 15-50 and running fine, then it happens again a few minutes later).
With DAoC the same thing happens after being logged in for 5 or so minutes, except after the "lag spike" i just get disconnected from the server. It doesnt reconnect me to the game and let me carry on, like in FPS games.
These are the results of my speed test:

1st 128K took 1703 ms = 76965 Bytes/sec = approx 640 kbits/sec
2nd 128K took 1828 ms = 71702 Bytes/sec = approx 597 kbits/sec
3rd 128K took 1844 ms = 71080 Bytes/sec = approx 591 kbits/sec
4th 128K took 1796 ms = 72980 Bytes/sec = approx 607 kbits/sec
By the way, i'm connected by an ethernet card. I'm in Worthing, West Sussex.
Please, for the love of all things good.....help!
