Lamb Rogan Josh or Madras for me. With chapatti's & Lime Pickle.

Best curry i ever had was down Brick Lane in London.

Chinese it has to be crispy duck - with the little crÃÃâ€*’©pes, hoy sin sauce, julienne spring onion & cucumber.

My local takeaway (Chutneys in Fleet, Hants) does a lovely Chicken Tikka Rogan Josh. Much nicer than a Chicken Tikka Masala or a CXhicken Rogan Josh :)

Having just devoured a chicken chilli masala and garlic nan I wonder if this song might be apt....

INDIAN CURRY RHAPSODY
only works if you read it to the
tune.

Song for Indian Curry
---------------------

Indian Curry Rhapsody
(to be sung to "Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen)

Naan, just killed a man
Poppadom against his head
Had lime pickle now he's dead
Naan, dinners just begun
But now i'm gonna crap it all away
Naan, ohhhh ohhhhhh
Didn't mean to make you cry
Seen nothing yet, just see the loo tomorrow

Curry on, Curry on
Cause nothing really Madras

Too late, my dinner's gone
Sends shivers done my spine
Rectum aching all the time
Goodbye onion bhaji, i've got to go
Gotta leave you all behind and use the loo

Naan, ohhhh ohhhhhh
The Doopiaza is so mild
I sometimes wish we'd never come here at all

Guitar solo
I see a little Chicken Tikka on the side
Rogan Josh, Rogan Josh, pass the chutney made of mango
Vindaloo does nicely
very very spicey
Meat
Byriana (Byriana)
Byriana (Byriana)
Byriana and a Naan
(A Vindaloo loo loo loo)
I've eaten Balti, somebody help me
He's eaten Balti, get him to the lavatory
Stand you well back
Cause the loo is quarantined
Here it comes
There it goes
Technicolour yawn
I chunder
No !
It's coming up again
(There he goes)
I Chundits coming back again (There he goes)
Coming back again (up again)
Here it goes again
(No, No, No, No, No, No NO )
On my knees I'm on my knees
On his knees, Oh, there he goes
This Vindaloo
It's about to wreck my guts
Poor me.... Poor me.... Poor meeeeee

Guitar solo
So you think you can chunder and feel alright ?
So you try to eat curry and drink beer all night ?
oh maybe, but now you puke like a baby
just had to come out
it just had to come right out in here
Mother of a guitar solo.

:D

Chicken Jalfrazi for me. With Pilau rice and Peshwari nann. I so love Peshwari naan. I could eat it 24/7. Not too big on the old mushrooms though. :erm:

I quite like a Patak's Chicken Korma (with rice) flung over chips, with garden peas (frozen). The peas go really well with the Korma sauce. Chav Save has Patak's meals on special at the moment - half-price at 99p.

Lamb tikka sambur with chapatties is my take away favourite.. yummmmm. I've also been making my own from spices and fresh ingredients, they are just as good as the takeaway after lots of trial and error ;) .. none of these jar ones for me :D

I detest chinese food, its so fecking bland.

Indian food now that I lurve. I dont bother with indian resaurants much though, We have an Indian family living over the road and they make me home prepared food, its nicer, not as spicey (mostly) and you get a real feel for what its about.

However I love Chicken jalfrezi with whole chillis in it.

Gimme anything except fish, pies and pinapple and I will eat it. My favourite things are duck wraps with plum sauce, beef madras, these chicken wraps you get with lebanese food, warm pains au chocolat,.... yum.

Lebanese food is the most delish (but most expensive  ) food that I've ever had.

Sorry for drifting away from the topic of convo :D
