I had my phone line disconnected by NTL on 14th December, and despite all sorts of promises and being pushed from pillar to post, they never got it reconnected.

As a follow-up to the above post, I rang NTL again, just to confirm that my account had actually been cancelled. I was told that the reconnection process had been stopped, and that my account was indeed cancelled.
I also wrote a letter of complaint to NTL, complaining about my treatment and the way they conduct their operations, and pointed out that I had now taken my custom elsewhere, namely BT.
Last Sunday (16th Jan) NTL rang while I was out, they said they'd call back... (Which they haven't yet, so nothing new there), but I thought to myself, "ring up my old NTL number". Nothing. It was still dead.
I tried again on Tuesday, still nothing.
I tried this morning... I've got an NTL phone line again :shrug:
I do hope they don't expect me to pay for it.
