hi all, im going to be regiostering and setting up an NTL broadband service, however in the past i have noticed that everytime i have done it for someone NTL have failed to supply the 11 digit ( i think) code, the one which starts with 'NTL' , so does anyone have this to hand ?

* for stand-alone cable modem users, the serial number is ntl-ct8-cj486.
* for digital TV set top box users, the serial number is ntl-ct8-cb487.

Good luck registering ! I was setup today but haven't been able to register all day as the registration service has been unavailable since 9am !!

yeh found that out when i rang NTL at the guys house, should learn to check the server status in future, i must not underestimate NTL. :D

According to the status page the registration problem is still ongoing.

Does anyone know if the regisistration server is back up yet? I'm trying to help a friend register their new stuff and couldnt get it to work yesterday.
