copying film to stand alone dvd player

hi, i've tried to make a copy of a film (well 4 at present count!!) using nero 6 ultra, which will play on my stand alone DVD player, I can get them to play BUT!! they are upside down! i've tried all sorts but with no luck every time, great quality but wrong way up!! Does anybody have any ideas please

Its got to be something to do with the encoding codec on your PC..

All i can suggest is to update all you video codecs.....

yeah that's one of the things i thaught about, any ideas where i'd get the updates from?
