The Woman in Black

I have just finished reading 'The Woman in Black' by Susan Hill; an excellent ghost story, well written and truly chilling. It's only 160 pages long, so if your local library has it in stock, borrow it.

The plot described in the blurb looked familiar and I remembered that a dramatised version was shown (at Xmas?) on TV in the early 90s. I remember the TV version as being equally chilling.

yeah the tv version was good, i know one of the actors that was in it. and yeah it was on at xmas

think there was a play too, or that maybe women in white

According to the blurb in the book there was indeed a play.

saw it when i did gcse drama, very scary
