Just upgraded from 750k to 1.5 meg over the phone this morning, waited about
45 seconds to be put through to an operator who was extremely polite and proffesional, spoke to him (sorry, forgot his name) for about 5 minutes in total and 5 minutes after that my download speeds have more or less doubled.

I have to say normally my dealings with NTL usually end up a nightmare, but on this occassion I felt I had to congralute them on a job well done in a timely manner.

Once again well done and keep up the good work.

@Gareth, it truly does my friend :D

@andrew, count me in for 3 meg Cable or 4 meg DSL when Bulldog start unbundling in Glasgow, hopefully next year from what I have heard from those in the know ;)
