Hi

I live in Cambridge and have a SACM Surfboard SB4100 for my 750K BB service.
Have had problems in last week with connection. Keeps dropping, All lights on except "activity" so I unplug the modem and reboot. Seems OK again (for a while (anything from 5 minutes to an hour....) then connection drops again. Then, for past 2 days I had no connection at all. Only lights on were the power light (on constant) and the receive light was flashing. (but had no connection at all) Then two hours ago, all lights came back on again (out of the blue) and I am back online. But for how long????

My diagnostics for the SB4100 modem are below (as of now)..... are they OK, does anyone know???

Would it be a modem problem or a signal/network problem?

Thanks in advance......

Steve.

My connection in Abingdon has been on and off all weekend. NTL Service Status page looks busy so wonder if this is part of the problem. Sorry I know nothing about diagnostics though.

downstream power level looks a bit low, call tech support and they should be able to get an engineer out for you.
