I'm obviously being retarded but, I have several Alcohol MDS/F images which I used Alcohol 120% to burn, none of them worked, however, if I re-extract the image file to a .bin and .cue and burn using Nero they work fine .. that might lead you to think there's a problem with the mdf format .. but there isn't as when I mount them using D-Tools I can install from and browse them no problem ... any ideas?

Just nero and Alcohol 120% (and whatever that ****e XP component is) but I'm 99% sure that isn't the problem if Nero can burn every time and XP is able to write data files to CD's with no problem. It's either something to do with A120% or my CD writer is a bit crap.

Why not just use nero then? Why use 2?
