Loss of Service - Leicester / Midlands

Checked server status page on NTL says they have planned maintenance.
Now this aint supposed to happen till Tuesday @ 1am
Yet its Monday evening and I have a Quake 3 tournament game to play and I cant because it just timeouts every 5 seconds for 10 seconds or so, I cant ping nothing no servers at these times too. Cant check email, and browsing is pathetic too.

Why have they started in the evening ?

Im in the same boat, trying to play cs & it keeps pausing every ten seconds & my server lists are coming up not responding, seems NTL have started early.

Web browsing isnt easy as dns keeps failing & ive tried alternative servers, seems NTLs routing has gone a bit pear shaped!

looks like packet loss off the leicester cams. it's on service status now ;)
