View Full Version : No online play for Pro Evolution Soccer 4 on PS2?

Is it true and has anyone confirmation that there will be no on-line for Pro Evolution 4 on the PS2? I assumed there was going to be, one of the reasons I'm going to get set up for it but last night heard it was only going to be the X-box version that allows on line play. That stinks:mad:

i cannot track down an article saying this, but to my knowledge online play is NOT on the ps2 version.....

now where did i put my advance copy ;)

Konami demonstrated Pro Evo 4 on XBox recently at a Game Stars Live showcase in London, and the demo version they used had an XBox Live button on the menu ...although this option wasn't demonstrated sadly :(

its the same as 2003 and 2004 other people who really play games have said the same thing aswell.

i love pro evolution soccer 4, fifa has really lost its appeal since its late 90's incarnations.

well, prior to last 2 years I was a big fan of FIFA and thought Pro Evo wasnt as good, now I've switched :)

Smart move, Simcut. EA have been resting on the laurels for the past few years, and the competition have caught up (and imo overtaken them)

can you imagine what it would be like if Pro Evo had the licenses FIFA has currently? maaaaaan.... I need to get my PS2 chipped and download these patches ppl have made to get real kits and real names :(

I dont know where to get my PS2 modded/chipped tho :\

They have missed a big chance with no online play in PRO EVO 4 and GT4, seems like they want us to buy an X-Box!
