A simple request and still not solved !

I hope somebody in CS is taking note.

August 4th
Requested downgrade from 1.5M to 750k and to retain xbox console package.
Therefore reduce cost from £39.99 to £26.99.

August 18th
Direct Debit taken £39.99

September 21st
Direct Debit taken £39.99 !!
Phoned Debra at CS "it will be sorted".

September 30th
E mail received stating
"next DD on 18th Oct will be £39.99"
Phoned Steven at CS "problem with billing... it will be sorted....somebody will
ring you back".

Well I'm still waiting,

I'm now entitled to a refund of £13 for each month that I'm over charged.

Why didn't you make a point of sorting it sooner?

I downgraded when the 1MB price went up! I noticed the speed hadn't dropped and called into the chatroom where Ignition rebooted the modem and it returned on 1mb. I then contacted Debsy who sorted it for me all within the first few weeks after I reduced the speed.

??? From what I read he has tried to sort it. I don't understand the point of you getting at him. The most any customer can do is to phone the company and request something. They shouldn't have to know someone personally at the company to get their request carried out. Why get at him when it's NTLs problem?

I kept checking the speed as I didn't want to be charged the new price

Looking at this he did nothing until September I continued rechecking and asked Debsy to check what speed I was on as I didn't have access to the modems config to check.

Knowing it was NTL you are dealing with its always best to keep ontop of this type of situation.

I am sure if he had been increasing the speed he would have been back onto CS quicker it hadn't been increased. MPO anyway.

Don't misunderstand me.

The speed was reduced almost immediately.

I assumed (wrongly as it turns out) that speed reduction = cost reduction.

I have occasionally seen where the billing system has not updated itself with the price change, speed change has gone through ok though. Never seems to be the other way round however

Just hopes it's not my name on the account as having done it :Sprint:

Many thanks to Mark B who now appears to have it sussed.
