View Full Version : New sign up - do you need to input your bank details??

Hi a family relative of mine allready has NTL digital television service and phone calls and dialup internet. My relative now wants to go for NTL 300K broadband, but when attempting to sign-up online near the end there's a page asking for your bank account details for Direct Debit?? Is this necessary, why can the price not be added to your NTL bill - like it is with mine incidently???

Also there were problems with getting my relative to sign up online - at the very last page where is says continue... it basically didn't, and just stopped the sign-up process. Is this something to do with the problems with registration at the moment. Also there was no option to choose weather you wanted Broadband via STB or Cable Modem. When you get your NTL Broadband package does it have a Cable Modem in it, or is it just the luck of the draw as too what you get??? :confused:
