I am not sure if we still have ntl engineers using this site, but today suddenly mine went off.
I phoned ntl, and the guy thinks I could be on the wrong router and was told that it might come back on all by itself, well nothing has happened yet.

Part of Cambridge is down, but not in my postcode area according to the ntl pre-recorded message, it seems a bit of a coincidence that part of Cambridge is down and all of a sudden mine stops working :D

Can anyone help, this dial-up connection sux :disturbd:

I am not sure if we still have ntl engineers using this siteWe have several.

Postcode to BB connections is not an exact science, only a rough guide, so I would say it's a fair bet you are off because of the fault.

1st 128K took 711 ms = 184349 Bytes/sec = approx 1534 kbits/sec
2nd 128K took 711 ms = 184349 Bytes/sec = approx 1534 kbits/sec
3rd 128K took 711 ms = 184349 Bytes/sec = approx 1534 kbits/sec
4th 128K took 701 ms = 186979 Bytes/sec = approx 1556 kbits/sec

Not sure why I had to be off 24 hours though, but who cares now :D
