I have 1.5M BB, Family + Disney DTV+ 2nd STB + compulsory phone line.

Never use the phone line, object to the compusion but lived with it until
1) it's been out of action for 2 months as the cabinet outside my house has had the doors swinging in the breeze
2) new customers are getting it for free (and probably using it!), I'm not using it and paying for it.

So phoned up Telco faults now it is fixed, listened to the burble about where problems are and then was immediatly connected to a person, they should be refunding by last two months line rental as thats how long I estimate the line has been out.

Put through to CS, verbally agreed to keep the BB or DTV for another 12 months and they have put free telco line rental on the account for that period (same as the new customer offer).

One happy NTL customer (assuming it all happens). I took names incase
