I know nobody here is particularly impressed with ntl's service status page (www.ntl-isp.ntl.com/servicestatus), so here is something to make it look even worse...

After a few connectivity issues with metronet of late, i have been looking at their server status page (www.servicestatus.net)... and wow was i impressed... not only is it updated literally as soon as their is more information available, but the details are their for those who the technical information actually means something to and appreciate the more detailed explanation. Oh and also there is none of this "our engineers are aware of the problem and are working towards a resolution blah blah blah"

But isn't it true according to one of the NTL senior management that we are all too stupid to understand technical issues? :D
