Bought some of this while in the deep south. Dare i leave it in view of the parents?

If it's anywhere near as strong as "Dave's Insanity Sauce" then steer well clear.. that stuff is lethal. I like hot food, but even a single drop of Dave's will blow your socks off.
Well, there's a relief. I have to say, after reading the thread title, that I came in here very much in 'close-thread-and-ban-gary' mode ;) :D

Whats it taste like?
i havent opened it yet. But its supposed to be a dry mixture of cajun spices which should be nice.
Not to the extremes of Daves insanity sauce, i tried that a few years ago, we put a tea spoon full in a casserole to beef it up a bit and it was ridiculously hot that it was just unpleasant and that comes from someone who grows his own chillis.
Why exactly are they called chillies if they make you hot (I've always wondered that)?
