View Full Version : TV and BB constantly dropping

I wasn't sure where to put this as it covers both topics so here goes.

I have TV through STB and BB through SACM.

For the last month at least, not a day has gone by without a problem with one or the other or even both.

With the BB, it just drops and comes on when it feels like it. There seems to be no pattern with the lights in terms of steady flashing etc. that I can see.

The telly just goes off and the lights with it usually. I can usually tell when it's going to happen as the middle lights flash.

I live in Didsbury in Manchester if it helps.

I've tried to ring NTL a couple of times but gave up after they told me to change the remote control batteries!

You may have poor signal levels so this needs another call to ntl (151) I am afraid, tell them of your problem in detail and do not accept that you need to change the remote control batteries. :rolleyes: :)

Spoke to them last night. Engineer coming round on Friday.

Pace 2000 if I remember correctly.

two scarts, two phonos if that helps.

two scarts, two phonos if that helps.You should not have problems with a 2000 STB they are good, i used to have one.

I don't think it's the box anyway.

The line is split and they fail independently.

You might be better with just one box that would do the two if its a signal problem
