whats the difference between ambit 120 and 200 please
sorry if somebody has already asked this question also will the 120 take the same speed as 200 thanx ;)

The modems all do the same thing, & that is to supply you with a BB connection. :)

I did read the briefing that went out about these, and I think the main difference is that the 200 has colour coded ethernet and USB sockets, to make talking people through the installation easier.

Doesn't stop people putting the wrong cable in the wrong socket! :rolleyes: :D

More seriously, and technically, the 200 model supports EuroDOCSIS 2.0, whereas the 100 and 120 support DOCSIS 1.1 and EuroDOCSIS 1.1 respectively. The network is currently running on 1.1, so there is no advantage to that - they all do the same job.

what is that eurodocsis 1 and 2 thingy ????

so do you think they will change eurodocsis type or are there too many people with the ntl 120 modems

It's long and complicated, but basically, it's the language spoken by the Cable Modem over the Cable TV system. There are lots of details available if you google it.
