View Full Version : tech support hours changing from july 1st
just rang tech support about the email service and before i was connected i got a recorded message saying from the 1st of july tech support will only be available from the hours of 8am till 12pm
i asked the tech support person why this has to be changed
he said it was not 'viable' for them to provide 24/7 support as during the early hours there were hardly any customers wanting support
another cutback in my eyes yes its only a matter of time before the services they provide start to deteriorate to such an extent any service you currently have near fault free or 'working' will just fall apart NTL :mad: :2up: :2up: :2up:

to be fair kronas what it will do is allow more ppl to be working during the times they are open hopefully meaning the majority of ppl will get a better service.
for the record the new hours will be
8am - midnite 7 days a week from 1st July like kronas said!

Thats cos no one ever phones at that time of the day mate....... so they've nipped out the back for a fag ;) :)

as much as i hate to admit it , it does make sense , as long as you are going to get a better service during the other hours i cant see the problem :) eh kronas ;)

In the quite periods they could answer/solve email questions/problems that customers have sent instead of queueing for 20-45 mins during peek times till it picks up again or have NTL stopped doing tech support via email?.

I suppose it beats having a tired tech support guy at 3am give you some duff information.

i can assure you we do reply to your emails - was doing it all day yesterday, so i should know :)

12pm (12:00) is midday mate 12am is midnight (i think lol well my clock always goes to pm at midday!)
or 0:00 if you are 24 hours

To be pedandtic, 12:00 noon is midday (the meridian). 12:00 am is midnight before and 12:00 pm is midnight after.
