I have just had a Trojan virus which Norton has removed but quarantined 26 items. It can't repair them so do I leave them there or choose the delete option?
Thanks

I just delete stuff from quarantine. If they can't be repaired, no point keeping them.

Yep, I once made the mistake of not deleting the quarantine folders contents, I forgot about it for ages and the next time I checked there was 3.04 gig's worth of stuff :Yikes: I forget what it was now.... but what a shock
Try to get hold of clean replacements, or identify which programs they may be associated with and uninstall/reinstall.
The stuff in the quarantine folder is there just in case there's eg a Word file with a Macro Virus. It's possible that you might actually want to read that file which is why it's not deleted, just put in a safe place.
Of course 99.999999% of the stuff in there is just spam/ trojans/ viruses etc and can be deleted without worrying.
