Hi there everyone,
A friend of mine got broadband installed yesterday, but when he used the NTL installation cd he has been getting this message:

"network adapter error.
broadband installer obtained an ip address for your network adapter, but not a default gateway."

he does not have ethernet so is hoping that the problem can be fixed by still using USB. I am sorry if I havent given enough information, but if you have any other questions then please ask me. he is on windows 98.
Thanx again
Rab

Don't use the installation CD.

The registration site address is posted on here somewhere. I'm sure someone will post the link. :)

STB registration is "172.16.30.84" or start.ntl

Cable Modem is "80.5.178.26" or https://autoreg.autoregister.net

You'd think someone would put essential stuff like this in the knowledge base :erm:
