Is it possible to keep my BB connection via CM and get rid of my telephone service?
I do not have TV service.

That is true as we had asked about this for my daughter who's at uni she didn't need the phone as we talk over the mobile and the net. So all she has is the bb. (although a while back it was differant it's not now)

I dropped my phone line when they triewd to introduce the "cap". I have no other services with ntl besides my 1M broadband.

I remember trying to drop the phone in the past and was told the cable modem is only an aditional service and not available as a sole item.

I believe this changed early this year, so you might have spoken to someone who doesn't know any better. After all, I'm sure I'm not the only one who has told ntl about their own offers and deals!

I had BB months before I even had a phone service with NTL.
