Sorry for ramming this down people's throats but I'm off down the hospital - she's just gone in to labour, so all going well, my daughter Eden should be with us today :)

I'll be taking my digicam and will try and get some pics on here later :)

Seems now like she'll be named Alyssa Eden :)

Yes she's my first, mother and child are doing fine. Actually the baby's been really quiet, all the others in the ward have been quite loud. Cheers everyone for your comments and thanks to Andre for posting the info later, I'll try and get some pictures online tomorrow :)

Just got in after being at the hospital all day......and I'm totally shattered! Got all these new 'paternal' feelings going on, so I'm gonna be a bit sparked for a while so if I dont make much sense over the next few days then you'll know why....

I could not agree more. They are better now than they were I believe.

There was a thread on here (or.com) recently about how environmental are you. A couple of other peeps also said, very but disposable nappies thankyouverymuch.

As my friends know, i don't do ga-ga... well not over babies anyway ;)
Not only is she a beautiful baby, but seems to be very alert.... notwithstanding the flash going off in her face and making her look like a bright spark when she's dozing or just releasing a bottom burp :naughty:

I have looked at the pics of the apple of your eye,and read both the comments of your friends on this forum, and your own comments.
I know EXACTLY how you feel m8, as my little girl has just had her 3rd birthday, and I still remember how I felt when I first held her.
You have a magical time in front of you---watching her look at you and smiling,watching her take her first steps, ( and falling lol)--and when she can speak, asking her daddy for help.I wish Alyssa Eden D everything that I wish for my own daughter,health,happiness,and 2 parents who will care for her no matter what.
