Hypothetical question here.

If someone was considering moving from the dialup service to the 150k BB service utilising the 3 month half price offer and free installation (currenly on offer). And if said person had the install carried out (cable modem etc), but then didn't install the software package or return the service agreement and decided they did not want BB after all....

Would NTL then charge for the installation/deinstall of the cable modem etc ? Or could they carry on as per normal on dialup.

I'd imagine you'd be held to the 12 month agreement, since NTL will have fulfilled their obligation of providing the hardware and line necessary for you to utilise what you will have signed up for. Whether you use it or not is your choice, but you'd still pay as the service is there for you
