I've got an ntl:home 200 modem here sat in it's box and I'm thinking of using it instead of my aging, bulky 3com CMX. If I do, what number do I need to call to let them know of the change of MAC address, tech support or customer services?

Thanks. :)

why change from a very expensive and very reliable 3com to an ambit modem? and where did you get the ambit modem from because this makes a difference to whether it can be added to your account or not.

I got the modem from ntl months ago and it's just been sat on my shelf. I've been using the 3com since '99 and yes it's very reliable - are the ambits a bit flakey? :)

As for why, well I'm making changes to my home network and thought the much smaller ambit would make a neater job.
