Has anyone tried this yet to hookup online without using XBOX live. According to the website http://www.xboxlink.co.uk you can play Halo one on one with it too

XBConnect.com (http://www.XBConnect.com) plays fantasic with little problems. I only got into it recently, and I enjoy is immensly! (no lag Andre ;) )

EDIT: plus it's prudent to add that XBConnect.com is a mature application in it's third version.....XBOX Link is still only RC2 :sleep:

May give that a try. Still waiting for the currier to deliver my eithernet and crossover cable
