View Full Version : XP Toolbar
Well, this is a small problem but I have mental gridlock!
When I minimise windows they don't appear on my toolbar. I have to ALT TAB to see which applications are running. I guess I must have fiddled with something while drunk! Does anyone know how to get them back?

A quick system restore to a date before the problem started should sort it for you ;) ;)
OoooH! I hope there is another way! I worry about system restore! It seems a bit quirky to me!
Could this be your problem http://www.computing.net/windowsme/wwwboard/forum/32264.html

  RE post #4
Thats for Win ME and Meld51 is on Win XP
Thanks Def,
Well its similar but not the same, the files that this thread warns about don't exist on my PC..........but my daughter sent me an e-card a while back.
I'll run a virus check but I don't suspect anything right now....lets see......
Try this http://download.com.com/3000-2144-10194058.html?tag=lst-0-1 its FREE and found it better than Adaware
Thanks again...
Ran a scan, no probs
Ran adaware, cleared of the usual rubbish. There seems to be no way of keeping spyware of your network.
I think I'll give spybot a go.
Then I'll start looking at Background apps. Ive not done that for a while. It usually turns up a few items that I'm best without!
Onwards.....
