I've heard about this game yes. Something the US army use's to help train people yes ?

This would perhaps explain why they killed more of there own and allied soldiers than the enemy perhaps. Also why their so trigger happy

I used to play this and got very good at it (full sniper +medic training etc) and had an honor level of 28, I lost my username though. :(
I might download it again later...

I tired it a while back but got confused as to who is actually who - the number of times i shot my own side was amazing. Havr they sorted that now so you can clearly see who is your enemy?

I means MOHAA (old but i love it still) its germans and Allies - so easy enough to spot who to kill.

well i think its kind of realistic...
real soldiers in wars arent going to be carrying a big flag that says: "shoot me, i'm german!"... or whatever...
neither are they going to have a fifa-esque red diamond over the top of their heads....
i mean... you ARE given binoculars... you just get to learn what types of clothing and guns your enemy wears/equips... i mean enemy guns sound differently, and the enemies shout to each other in a russian-sounding language...
what is your honour now richard?

I tried to get it from FileFront, but the poxy thing timed out after 450meg. HTTP was never meant to carry files this size. Because of its size and avoiding the cap, does anyone know of an FTP site I can get it from? Or at least somewhere GetRight-able?

Cheers

I got mine from www.nzone.com

It's HTTP, but it worked fine for me with a d/l speed ranging from 80-120KBps.

I'll see if I can find some FTP sites for you.

Cheers mate :)

If you can't i'll give it another go tomorrow on that site. Hopefully I might have better luck there.

Try this:

http://gigex1.com/L?T=G&PID=0078600482&source=00547_test

It downloads a small file to your PC (just like Bittorrent) that downloads America's Army when started. It doesn't install itself either (no dodgy 3rd party software), and has it's own resume.

All the other sites that offer FTP download are ones you'd need to sign up for I'm afraid, or either have very slow public ones.

Here are a few anway:

www.fileplanet.com
www.gamespot.com
http://www.fileshack.com/file.x?fid=78

All of the above have free services that you can sign up for, but you'll almost certainly have to wait in line to d/l.

I love AA, I used to be one of the big honor guys until I lost my internet connection late last year and when I got back online I'd lost my username so I had to start from scratch. :(
This time I can't get past the sniper training.

I downloaded it, but have to admit I got bored doing the training. I'll try again and see if I can complete it and then actually get to a game...
