Last night (about 1am) my connection was so bad, that I could not even look at web pages. I was very annoyed, so I thought I should try changing the proxy.

I followed the instructions on this board.

But when I got to the proxy, the one that was there was a freeserve one!

I once put freeserve into my computer, because my dad had it on his, and he could not get rid of it, so I put it on mine to walk him through it. It put a *****load of spyware and stuff on my computer without my permission.

So a little advice:
1. Make sure that you don't have the same as me
2. Make sure you never go near freeserve
3. If anyone tries to peddle you a freeserve CD, blow theior brains out for me.

No, the proxy that I was using was freeserve, which I am assuming was put there when I installed it that time.

But now I am using an ntl proxy, and it seems better. not great. but better.
