I've head of a lot of people taking the £15.50 24/7 unlimited calls offer and getting £7.50 broadband in the bargain! I'm a long standing ntl phone/tv/150k broadband customer who's recently added the 24/7 unlimited calls onto the account... if I ring customer services, what's the chance of them doing this deal with me? They make £62 a month off me before i make any calls or buy any movies, it's about time i got something back?!

Yeah thought as much.

Typical ntl, nothing to offer the long-term subscribers

not strictly true i am afraid , i have been with ntl since it was called comcast and for the last 6 months i have been getting £10 off 1mb when i took tu24 , so effectively i was getting 1mb for 600k price , mind you it has finished and i have gone back to 600k :(

Im on talk 24 unlimited with free digital TV. They've knocked off £10 from my broadband price (permantely) by discounting other products in a sales pitch to get me to join.

Oh, it worked btw , and im a happy bunny on 1mbit for £25

ring up saying you wish to cancel is another one, give the price of an ADSL subscriber thats cheaper than NTL and they will try and match the price for you.

I was getting 1 meg with NTL for £25 as they were billing me wrongly, but even at that price it wasnt worth staying, as the service for online gaming was poor in comparison to ADSL where I live and not really ever going to improve enough for me to warrant staying.
