Channel 4 to offer programmes on VOD

Channel 4 is to start offering some programmes on the NTL and Telewest Video On Demand services. Channel 4 has just announced a deal with Buena Vista International that will allow it to offer the first two seasons of Lost and Desperate Housewives via Video On Demand.
The first to be offered, Lost season 1 costs 99p per episode per day. The first two episodes are free.
Lost season two will follow, with each episode being made available two weeks after it is broadcast.
The shows will be available in High Definition on Telewest VOD, but NTL users are stuck with Standard Definition.
