How much data transfer does VNC/RDS use per second?

Ok, I'm usually always logged into my home machine or a remote server somewhere and I'm wondering how much bandwidth I'm using for simply being logged in?

I use Windows Remote Desktop Sharing.

esp with NTL bloody cap! ...please don't turn this into another anit-cap thread! :pp

Re: How much data transfer does VNC/RDS use per second?

VNC is happy with 128Kbps, but will work with as little as 56KBps (I have used it on a 56K modem, and it runs quite well)

Can't find out what kind of bandwidth RDS uses. There are options to keep the bandwidth down though.
